Fairview Web Designs is run by me, Alan Thompson

History

I have worked in IT since 1968 starting with VSEL and then with the Post Office. In 2001 I got the opportunity to take voluntary redundancy / early retirement which I accepted for personal reasons. Since then I have taken courses in web design, gaining a distinction. I have created a very large site for a Christian punk band called Decapolis, in which my son plays.

How can you provide a web site so cheaply

I receive a pension so I don't have to rely on an income from building web sites to pay my day to day expenses. I work from home so my overheads are kept low.

Where are you situated

We are situated in a town called Dalton-in-Furness which is between Ulverston & Barrow-in-Furness on the edge of the Lake District.
